Branch Announces Partnership with the Twitter Fabric Development Platform to Extend the Benefits of Deep Linking

The Branch deep linking toolkit is now available on the Fabric platform and will be the first of a series of integrations planned to allow developers to leverage the benefits of Branch deep links for other Fabric kits.

PALO ALTO, Calif., June 22, 2016 – Branch (https://branch.io/), the leading deep linking platform for businesses to drive growth with optimal mobile experiences, today announced a partnership with Fabric, the widely adopted mobile development suite from Twitter.

With this partnership, the Branch deep linking and attribution toolkit will be readily available on the Fabric platform, allowing developers to easily add deep linking capabilities to their apps to boost growth, user engagement and retention. The integration also simplifies the process of leveraging Branch deep links for existing toolkits on the Fabric platform, unlocking new growth opportunities and key performance metrics to optimize user growth. The first of these native integrations will be with Answers, the popular mobile analytics toolkit, to allow developers to pass Branch’s organic attribution data to the Answers’ dashboard and tie traffic sources to in-app activity metrics.

“We’re very proud to partner with Fabric and to add Branch to one of the most widely used development platforms in mobile,” says Alex Austin, co-founder and CEO of Branch. “Both are beloved platforms among the mobile developers community and to couple Branch’s benefits with those of the Fabric kit to empower developers to grow their apps even further is a dream come true.”

“At Fabric we’re all about building powerful mobile development tools that enable developers to create the best apps as easy as possible,” says Fabric Product Manager, Jonathan Zazove. “The integration with Branch will allow our users to unlock more benefits and use cases with Fabric’s other toolkits that weren’t previously accessible without deep linking.”

Fabric (whose selective portfolio of mobile tools includes the widely used Crashlytics, Answers, MoPub, and Stripe) and Branch have both enjoyed rapid growth and widespread adoption since their respective launches in late 2014. The growing list of mobile apps already using both Branch and Fabric includes Pinterest, HotelTonight, Ticketmaster, Instacart, 8tracks, and Houzz, amongst others.

The Branch deep linking toolkit is immediately available to all Fabric users at no cost.
